1. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small item of data a website stores in your browser to maintain functionality or remember a choice. Similar technologies include scripts and signals used for security checks, network requests, and aggregated visit measurement. This policy explains them together without describing an analytics request that stores no cookie as a cookie.
2. Technologies used on this site
| Name or service | Category | Purpose | Duration and condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| nuclx_locale | Essential | Remembers the Chinese or English version you selected. | 12 months; set after a language choice. |
| nuclx_consent | Essential | Remembers cookie and analytics choices and the policy version. | 12 months; set after saving privacy choices. |
| Cloudflare security and edge network | Essential | Delivers and protects the site, processes limited request information, and supplies a country or region code for an initial language suggestion. | Processed with requests; cookie or log duration depends on Cloudflare security configuration and necessity. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Essential on the contact form | Determines whether a submission is human and prevents automated abuse; it may access or set security cookies or local state. | Only when the contact form is displayed or used; duration follows the security check. |
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | Optional analytics | Measures page visits, sources, and performance in aggregate. It does not use cookies or local storage for analytics. | Loads only after consent; future measurement stops after withdrawal. |
3. Essential technologies
Essential technologies deliver the site, protect it, and remember language and privacy choices. They cannot be disabled through our site controls. You can still delete or block cookies in your browser, but some features may not work and your language or privacy choices may not persist.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam and automated attacks. Turnstile is enabled only where the form is present and operates independently of your optional analytics choice.
4. Optional website analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics helps us understand which pages are visited, where visits originate, and how the site performs. We load its script only after your express consent. The service is designed not to use cookies or local storage to identify returning visitors and is not used for cross-site advertising.
Even though the analytics service does not itself write a cookie, we let you decide whether analytics requests are sent. After withdrawal, the site stops future analytics. Withdrawal cannot remove statistics that have already been aggregated and can no longer be linked to you.
5. Managing and withdrawing choices
On your first visit, you can accept all, use essential technologies only, or manage preferences. You can later reopen the panel through “Cookie settings” in the footer and withdraw optional analytics. Your choice is stored in nuclx_consent for 12 months.
You can also view, delete, or block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete essential cookies, the site will ask again and may repeat the language suggestion. There is no uniform technical standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, so this site follows the express choice you make in Cookie settings.
6. Third-party services
Cloudflare provides site delivery, security, Turnstile, and optional analytics, and may process relevant technical information across its global network. Its handling is also governed by its own service terms and privacy notices. See our Privacy Policy for more on recipients, cross-border processing, and personal information rights.
7. Changes and contact
If the technologies, durations, or legal requirements change, we will update this policy and show the new date at the top.
